Enhancing the online Mass experience for St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Role: Freelance Graphic Designer (In collaboration with the Media Director and Director of Religious Evangelization)
During the height of the COVID-19 lockdown, when churches across the country were forced to close and in-person Masses came to a halt, St. Augustine Catholic Church turned to virtual live-streaming to keep its community connected in faith. As a freelance graphic designer, I created a broadcast graphics designed to maintain a sense of reverence and visual consistency for the online worship experience.
This included lower thirds, scripture slides, and splash pages, each made to reflect the solemnity and beauty of the Catholic Mass, even through a screen. The graphics were successfully implemented for all virtual Masses during the lockdown, helping parishioners feel spiritually grounded and visually engaged as they worshipped from home.
