These full-screen splash pages were created to open and close St. Augustine Catholic Church’s live-streamed Masses. Featuring traditional paintings of St. Augustine and powerful Catholic imagery like the Holy Eucharist, the designs were meant to ground the virtual experience in reverence, tradition, and visual beauty, bringing sacred art into a modern digital format.

The visual tone is dark, dramatic, and contemplative to reflect the solemnity and holiness of the Mass, honoring Christ’s sacrifice and inviting viewers into a prayerful mindset. The color palette follows St. Augustine’s branding, a rich, dark green, symbolizing growth, renewal, and the enduring nature of faith. Clean, modern typography was paired with these visuals to create balance and connect with a diverse audience, including the many University of Miami students who attend Mass through the church’s student ministry.
