‘PSALM 34’ ONE ON ONE RETREAT T-SHIRT

This t-shirt was designed for the New Life Youth Group’s annual One on One Retreat, a special event where students are invited to encounter Christ in a personal and transformative way. The theme for this retreat was inspired by Psalm 34: “Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.”

The design centers around the Holy Eucharist, symbolized by the host and chalice radiating light, with grapes and wheat woven into the illustration to represent the precious Body and Blood of Christ. The visual style is bold and graphic, intentionally created to feel youthful, vibrant, and meaningful to a high school audience.

Navy blue and gold were chosen for both its visual impact and symbolic meaning. Navy blue conveys depth, sincerity, and faith, while gold symbolizes divine light, glory, and the richness of God’s grace.

The shirts were printed and given to all retreat participants as a keepsake of their experience, a wearable reminder of their encounter with Christ and the community they shared it with.
